How to Play Sudoku
Sudoku is a logic-based number puzzle. Fill a 9x9 grid so that every row, column, and 3x3 box contains the digits 1 through 9 exactly once.
Rules
Each row, column, and 3x3 box must contain the numbers 1 to 9 without repetition. Pre-filled cells are fixed and cannot be changed. Use logic — no guessing is needed for a well-designed puzzle.
Tips & Strategy
Start with rows, columns, or boxes that have the most filled cells. Use elimination to narrow down possibilities. Look for "naked singles" (cells with only one option) and "hidden singles" (numbers that can only go in one place within a group).
